Baker Athletic was founded in September 2008 by baker011 and co-managed by RichardJ1 making it one of the oldest clubs on FIFA. In time as the squad developed and grew, Baker Athletic rose through the ranks taking first Sunderland, then England to Division 1. Towards the end of FIFA 09 Baker Athletic switched to France and completed an impressive milestone of playing over 1,500 games as a club, winning over 900 games. Baker Athletic was also one of the first teams to field ten players.

The launch of FIFA 10 saw the same core group of players, with the newly appointed co-manager Stewbed, also achieve a top 50 place within the World Rankings and the British Isles in the early days. With most of its team highly ranked within the Pro Club Championship Leaderboards, Baker Athletic became known for nurturing and developing quality players with many choosing to stay with the team.

Baker Athletic is known for their maturity, professional attitude and very friendly atmosphere, also playing the beautiful game how it should be played.
